What A Per-Mile Pledge Adds Up To

Backing a walker works differently from a one-time gift: you pledge an amount for each mile they walk, and they all walk the same 15 miles. Drag the slider to see what your per-mile number becomes.

Every walker completes the same fixed 15-mile walk.

Your Share Of A Hero

0.05%

of the $150,000 it takes to fund one hero end to end

A pledge this size, from at least 10 backers behind each of 1,000 walkers, comes to $750,000 — 5 heroes funded, start to finish. That's the whole idea: nobody carries this alone.

Illustration only. These figures show what a pledge of this size would come to — they are not amounts raised, and nothing is charged here.
