Glenn Baker is a U.S. Army Desert Storm veteran who came home carrying more than most people ever see. He rebuilt his life twice — first in business, then from the ground up — before returning to songwriting and reconnecting with Nashville's music scene, where a fundraiser for wounded veterans put him back in front of an audience that needed him.
That night became "Finish This Fight," an anthem that grew into a documentary, and a documentary that put Glenn face-to-face with Iraq War veteran Joshua L. Holm — paralyzed, still leading, still serving, and still without the exoskeleton that could put him back on his feet. Glenn made a promise that day. Walk For A Hero is that promise, kept for one hero and now being kept for a hundred.
“As a soldier, we made an oath to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. As a Warfighter, we also made an oath to our battle buddies to never leave anybody behind. We have left Warriors behind, and this mission is to fix that and get those Warriors back on their feet.”
